چکیده
In this article, we present the current state of art in binaural audio with focus on head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) and valuation methods virtual acoustics descriptive attributes. This combination provides a methodology, which delivers basis for research studies reality (VR) individual non-individual functions. Based largely explored localization perception static signals, review offers an overview directional hearing during head sound source movement multimodality audiovisual environments. Perceptual quality characteristics provide evaluation from future HRTF VR experiments environments could benefit.

Can I Trust My One-Class Classification?
Contrary to binary and multi-class classifiers, the purpose of a one-class classifier for remote sensing applications is to map only one specific land use/land cover class of interest. Training these classifiers exclusively requires reference data for the class of interest, while training data for other classes is not required. Thus, the acquisition of reference data can be significantly reduce...
متن کاملInterpolating Head Related Transfer Functions
This paper describes the interpolation of head related transfer functions (HRTFs) for all directions. The interpolation of HRTFs enables us to reduce the number of measurements for new user’s HRTFs, and also reduce the data of HRTFs in auditory virtual systems. A linear interpolation and the spline interpolation are evaluated and the advantages of both methods are clarified. The interpolation m...
متن کاملModeling Head Related Transfer Functions
Head Related Transfer Functions (HRTF’s) characterize the transformation of a sound source to the sounds reaching the eardrums, and are central to binaural hearing. Because they are the result of wave propagation and difiraction, they can only be approzimated by finitely parameterized filters. The functional dependence of the HRTF on azimuth und elevation is described, the requirements for a mo...
متن کاملA vision-based head tracker for fish tank virtual reality-VR without head gear
A practical and robust head-position tracking method using computer vision is presented. By combining two simple image processing techniques, this tracker can report the position of the user's head in real time. Whole image processing is performed by software running on normal mid-range workstations. This tracker can support desk top virtual reality (also referred to as \ sh tank VR"), thereby ...
